Paint, Glue, Mud and Worms...
A popular spot to play at school is amongst the harakeke (flax), so instead of pushing through the existing plants, the path building elective was tasked with digging up, and relocating some of the flax. Once they have cleared a track, an appropriate garden path material will go over the dirt - or in today's case, the mud!!The art space was busy with the students painting rubbish bin covers. Even the cleanup looked like fun.
There was a fair bit of concentration and pride shown in the creative group today, with some detailed works underway.
