REGULAR CLASS SPOTLIGHT – Tai Chi with Mercedes
Every Saturday morning at 9am, our own Tai Chi champion, Mercedes Godinez takes Tai Chi with Mercedes. Mercedes is an experienced practitioner of Tai Chi with national and international awards and can help challenge your own tai chi practice. All welcome to this class, which is $5 per session. ·         ** Quest 4 Wellness November Seminar ** - This month's seminar focusses on weight management. Come and meet with Dr Gloria Hettige to explore ways to help you look and feel the best. 7.30pm Tuesday 11th November. RSVP your attendance to 04 473 7907 or 027 4427866. There will be a small door charge of $5.00 per family to cover costs. See attached flyer for further details.
·         ** Churton Park Christmas Craft Market **  - Only a week to go until this wonderful community market, next Friday from 5 – 8pm. Not only can you take care of the Christmas shopping, and let the kids spend their pocket money at the kids market, but the Village shops are also getting involved with wine tasting at New World and specials on at Takeaway@Churton and Spices. There will be entertainment from Churton Park Kindy, Churton Park Little School and Churton Park School, plus buskers, a sausage sizzle run by Johnsonville Guides and another awesome cake stall from Amesbury School! Can’t wait to see you all there!
·         ** Christmas Card Making ** - Tuesday 11th November 9.30 – 11.30am and. Learn the skills to make four exquisite Christmas cards then take home your work! Just $20 for four cards. Places are strictly limited. (If you can’t make a daytime class, Rachael will also be running this class in the evening on Friday 12th December 7 – 9pm). See attached for the cards you will make.

·         ** Christmas Craft Classes ** - Rachael has a number of classes coming up to teach you techniques for creating beautiful Christmas cards and boxes. See the attached flyers and book through the Centre:
o   One Sheet Wonder Class – Tuesday 2nd December 9.30 – 11.30. Learn to make five gorgeous items using the One Sheet Technique. $25. Limited places.
o   Kids Christmas Craft Class – Tuesday 11th December 3.30 – 5pm. Great Christmas crafts for kids aged 5+. Adults can register for this class also. $20.
o   Christmas Card Making - Friday 12th December 7 – 9pm . Learn the skills to make four exquisite Christmas cards then take home your work! Just $20 for four cards. Places are strictly limited.
·         ** Pashminas Unlimited Sale ** - For the first time at CPCC, fine quality Kashmiri pashminas in silk, wool and cotton. These would make gorgeous Christmas gifts (or something special for yourself) on sale at CPCC on Friday 21st November between 12 – 2pm. See attached for more information on product and prices.
·         ** Churton Park Photography Club End of Year Exhibition ** - Tuesday 25th November, from 7pm at Simmer Café. This will be an opportunity to see and appreciate the talent and the achievements of this group in the past year. Examples of the students' work will be framed and available for sale. For those of you curious about joining the Club, this could also be a great opportunity to get along and meet some of the members.

·         ** Kitchen Renovation Seminar ** - Sunday 7th December, 2 - 4pm. New/part kitchen renovation on the agenda this upcoming summer and new year? This seminar will cover in detail all the factors to consider when renovating your kitchen. Hosted by Romina Roncato, a self-employed full time kitchen designer. Romina has been designing kitchens since 2006 and her work can be found in the Nelson/Marlborough area, the South Island's West Coast, and all over the Wellington Region. This seminar will have a strong focus on the materials used in the kitchen and the information provided will help you make decisions about what will work best for your renovation. You will leave this seminar feeling more confident and prepared to embark on your upcoming renovation project! $20.00 per person or register with a friend and pay $15.00 each. Register by emailing Romina Roncato, Kitchen Design Specialist, rominaroncato@gmail.com,www.newkitchenbliss.com.

Redwood School is holding their Gala on Saturday 15 November from 11am-3pm.  Located in Redwood Ave, Tawa.  There will be heaps of entertainment & food stalls, garage sale & raffles.  Come along and join in the fun!  See the attachment.
