Urgent! Opportunity - Junior Football Parade at Phoenix Last Game

The Wellington Phoenix want to celebrate the start of the junior football season with a Junior Club parade at the last Phoenix game this Saturday from 4pm at Westpac Stadium.

Merrick, our Monday football teacher, will be taking part in the parade – and he would love as many Amesbury football players as possible to join in. There is no age limit, and a mix of boys and girls is ideal.

Merrick coaches for North Wellington Club and he is happy for any Amesbury students who are not affiliated with a club, who would like to participate, to join North Wellington Club for the parade.

All children who join the parade will receive free entry to the game. Adult supervisors will also receive free entry.

If your child is keen to be involved in the parade, please email merrickjkeenan04@hotmail.com no later than 8am tomorrow/Thursday morning and advise the following:

 1)      child’s name, age and contact phone number

2)      your name and contact phone number (cellphone is best) if you can help as an adult co-ordinator on the day (one adult is required per 12 children)

 Kids and adult supervisors will receive free entry to the game. 

 Extra adults will be able to purchase tickets at a reduced rate.  We can let you know the code for this once we have the kids’ names confirmed.

This is usually great fun for juniors players who love getting down onto the pitch at Westpac and it will be their last chance to see the Phoenix players in action this season.
